Himachal Governor paid tribute to Netaji on his birth anniversary

Governor Bandaru Dattatraya paid rich tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary at Raj Bhavan today.

In his message, the Governor said that he was a true patriot who made immense contribution in the Indian freedom struggle. He also founded Azad Hind Fauj. His famous quote was “Give me blood and I will give you freedom”, which strengthens the spirit of patriotism in the hearts of Indians, even today. He went to jail several times for Purn Swaraj. He started the Azad Hind radio station in Germany and led the Indian National Movement in East Asia. Subhash Chandra Bose believed that Bhagavad Gita was his main source of inspiration.

The Governor said that he also established the Rani Jhansi Regiment and gave women an opportunity to contribute actively in the war of independence of India.
