Haryana Government has constituted a State Level Task Force under Swachh Bharat Mission to implement the mission successfully and make it a people’s movement.
While giving details an official spokesman said that MLA, Panipat (Rural), Mr. Mahipal Dhanda has been appointed as its Chairman while Executive Vice Chairman, Swachh Bharat Mission, Mr. Subhash Chander has been appointed as its Vice Chairman.
He further stated that the State Task Force Committee of Swachh Bharat Mission would implement Swachh Bharat Mission and would make this mission a peoples movement by involving NGOs, Resident Welfare Associations, Social Organisations, Religious Organisations or any other social groups and co-ordinate with various existing organizations to achieve the aims and objectives of Swachh Bharat Mission. The Task Force would prepare its own list of activities along with the funds requirements for the whole year and after approval from the Governing Body would implement these activities. The Task Force would have its own Secretariat.
Director, Development & Panchayat would be its Member Secretary and Director, Urban Local Bodies would be its Co-Member Secretary. The members of the Task Force include Regional Director, Central Ground Water Board, Chandigarh (Expert); Chief Engineer, PR, Development and Panchayats Deptt.; Chief Engineer, Urban Local Bodies Deptt.; Mr Tejinder Singh Teji of Village Samora of District Karnal, Mr Mukesh Kumar of District Panipat, Mr Surender Pawar of Sonipat, Mr Pawan Sharma of District Karnal, Dr. R.K. Jangra of District Narnaul, Mr Ved Pal of District Nuh, Mr Narender Pachaar of Rohtak, Mr Ved Parkash of Jind, Mr Joginder Singh of Kurukshetra and Rajesh Kumar of Kaithal. Besides this, two academicians or professional would be nominated separately as members of the Task Force.
District level Task Force Committees would be formed under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioners which would consist of both official as well as non-official members.
