BBMB organized Hindi Month in Board Sectt., Chandigarh from 1st September 2019 to 30th September 2020. During the Month, five competitions viz-a-viz Hindi Nibandh & Anuvad Pratiyogita, Hindi ShabadGyan Pratiyogita, Hindi Tankan Pratiyogita, Hindi Noting & Drafting Pratiyogita, and Swarachit Hindi KavyaPath Pratiyogita were organized for the employees to maximize the use of Rajbhasha in day to day official working.
Er. Harminder Singh Chugh, Member, Power & Irrigation, BBMB awarded the winners of these Hindi competitions on 23.10.2020, at SLDC Complex, Chandigarh. Besides this, awards were also given to some employees for their outstanding work in Hindi during the year 2019-2020. Speaking on the occasion, Er. Harminder Singh Chugh, Member/Power & Irrigation, BBMB congratulated all the winners & participants of the competitions. He exhorted all BBMB officers and employees to do all their official work in Hindi
On this occasion FA& CAO, BBMB, Chief Engineer, Transmission System, Secretary, BBMB, Special Secretary, BBMB, Director, HRD, Director, Security, Director, NHP, Director, Power Regulation, other senior officers and employees of BBMB were present.
