    Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur called on Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla

    Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur called on Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at New Delhi on Monday.

    The Chief Minister requested the Speaker for setting up e-Vidhan Academy at Tapovan in Dharamshala. He said that Himachal Vidhan Sabha is functioning completely on e-Vidhan system and added that Himachal wants to set up e-Vidhan academy to impart training to legislators of all states. He also requested him to visit the state to witness the functioning of e-Vidhan Sabha.

    Om Birla appreciated the initiative of the state and assured that he would provide full support for the project and also visit the state soon.

    Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Singh and Deputy Resident Commissioner Vivek Mahajan accompanied the Chief Minister.
