Shimla, 17 May:

A delegation of Shimla Rural assembly constituency led by newly appointed Chairman of Kailash Federation Ravi Mehta called on the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at his official residence Oak Over here today.

The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for appointing Ravi Mehta as Chairman.

Chief Minister speaking on the occasion said that the present State Government was committed for welfare of all sections of the society with special emphasis on those areas which remained neglected during the last five years. He said that people of the State have great expectations from the present State Government and it would strive hard to come upto their aspirations.

State BJP President Satpal Singh Satti while congratulating the Chairman urged the workers to work dedicatedly for strengthening the party base.
