The pristine Forest Hill Golf & Country Club Resort proudly hosted Event 8 of the prestigious IGU North Zone sub-junior/junior feeder tour 2021 from 17 to 19 December 2021.
Top junior golfers from across North India – Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Haryana, Punjab, and J&K participated in this 3-days exciting event and showcased their golf skills.
Arihaan Beri, one of the most promising young golfers in the country, produced a stellar performance of 5 under par by shooting 8 birdies in his category D. He won by a margin of 5 strokes. Danish Verma shot a round of 4 under the second day to finish in the runner up position. Aryan Sharma shot a round of 4 under par with 8 birdies to bag the third position.
Rabab kahlon emerged as winner in Category D Girls with Shiksha Jain coming up second and Advika Datta securing the third position.
Krishnav Gupta of Category E put up a great show by shooting 3 under par to force a playoff with previous day overnight leader Sohraab S Talwar. Both were tied at 5 under for 2 days. In the playoff hole, Krishnav hit a birdie and sealed his position in a victorious manner. In girls’ category, Ojaswini won thumpingly by a margin of 6 strokes with a total of 3 over for 2 days. Gairat Kahlon bagged the second position followed by Advika Datta.

As part of its aim to promote grass-root level golf, Forest Hill Golf & Country Club regularly hosts Junior Golf Tours and Championships as part of the Forest Hill Junior Golf Training Programme that is designed to provide a premier competitive and developmental golf experience to young golfers.
