Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar Called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya At Raj Bhawan Shimla
Today Health Minister Calls on Governor at Raj Bhawan, Shimla
He said that State Government was spending Rs. 2,482 crore during current financial year for providing quality health services to the people of the State. He also apprised the Governor about the on-going health schemes of the State Government and added that the Government has been making concerted efforts to provide timely health care services to people of the State.
Parmar said State Government has started “HIM CARE Yojna” for families not covered under “Ayushman Bharat” by providing health insurance cover up to Rs. 5 lakh. He said that families of persons, who worked for more than 50 days under MNREGA during the year, have been provided health insurance cover of Rs.5 lakh, without any insurance premium to be paid by them. He also briefed about Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram, Sahara scheme, Janani Suraksha Yojna and many more schemes.
The Governor appreciated the initiatives of the state government in the implementation of various schemes.
