Himachal Showcasing Tourism Potential at Surajkund

In the 34th Surajkund International Crafts Mela, Theme State Himachal Pradesh has filled the entire crafts Mela ground with the colors of brand Himachal Pradesh. The tourism potential of the State is being showcased at the international level platform at this crafts mela.

The state has got an opportunity to market and showcase the various tourist destinations, unexplored areas of Himachal Pradesh at the international platform in this crafts mela. A tourist information center cum exhibition stall has been put up to promote tourism. It was the proud moment for the ‘Theme State’ on the inaugural day 1st February when His Excellency the President, Ram Nath Kovind visited the exhibition stall cum information center of Himachal Tourism along with  Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

To promote and market the brand Himachal Tourism, a promotional campaign is being carried through print media, electronic media, FM Radio and on social media.

In the Crafts Mela ground big hoardings, LED wall screens, translate, bunting, cut-out’s, hangings, selfie points, etc. have been put up to showcase tourism potential. Besides, the culture of Himachal Pradesh has been depicted in the Mela ground with artistic wall art and design. To attract the visitors, a selfie point with the slogan ‘I Love Himachal’ has been put up. The promotional tourism films are being shown to the visitors on the big LED screens at the Mela ground including cultural heritage, spiritual tourism, adventure tourism, Buddhist circuit and general tourism to market and promote the state of Himachal Pradesh.

The entire meal ground is decorated with Himachal Theme and visitors are getting the feel and vibe of Himachal Pradesh at Surajkund Crafts Mela.

The tourism exhibition stall has also become an attraction for visitors and a large number of visitors are clicking the selfies at the stall. The other 70 stall huts of the artisans and food stall have also been branded with the Himachali theme. The students visiting the stall getting the information about Himachal Pradesh and unexplored areas.
