Merchant Navy Officers’ Association donates PPE kits

Merchant Navy Officers Association (MNOA) Chandigarh has donated life saving Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to both Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) and Government Medical College & Hospital, Sec 32.

Balbir Singh Mangat, President, MNOA said, “MNOA’s executive committee decided to donate PPE kits to COVID – 19 frontline warriors who are doing an excellent job in the fight against Corona Virus, the invisible enemy. We at MNOA procured the kits which were approved by both the hospitals. I on behalf of MNOA have donated 300 kits to PGIMER and 100 kits to GMCH.”

The kits at PGIMER were handed over to the PGI Procurement Committee headed by Dr. Arunaloke Chakrabarti. The PPE kits were received by Dr. Arunaloke Chakrabarti, Chairman Resource Committee and his team members, Dr. Pankaj Arora and Dr. Pankaj Malhotra. At GMCH, Sec 32 the sets were received by  Medical Superintendent Dr. Ravi Gupta and Dr. Dasari Harish.
