Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore will open the underpass connecting Rose Garden with Sector 17 on Wednesday.
The underpass will allow visitors to travel directly between Rose Garden and Sector 17 without crossing Jan Marg, one of the busiest roads in the city.
The underpass, constructed as part of the rejuvenation plan for Sector 17, was approved by the UT Administration to connect Sector 17 with Rose Garden in 2017.
