CM URGES OF SEPARATE STATE INSTITUTE OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT IN HP

Chief Minister Sh Jai Ram Thakur called on Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Shri Narendra Singh Tomar at New Delhi today and discussed various issues pertaining to the state.

Chief Minister demanded the opening of separate State Institute of Rural Development in Himachal Pradesh besides granting funds for modernization of Panchayati Raj Training Institute at Thunag in Mandi district.

He also requested for granting funds for modernization of land records for which the Union Minister asked to submit a proposal.

Shri Jai Ram Thakur also urged for granting two more projects to the state under RURBAN scheme during the current financial year.

The Union Minister agreed in principle for granting of funds for modernization of Panchayati Raj Training Institute at Thunag and assured of all possible assistance for various projects in Himachal Pradesh as and when required.
