Salaam Venky’s Shoot Begins & Kajol Made The Announcement

Kajol has acted incredibly in remarkable films throughout her career. Again she is all set to deliver a powerful film. Kajol teams up with veteran actor-filmmaker Revathy for her upcoming project ‘Salaam Venky’.

It was earlier titled ‘The Last Hurrah’ announced in October 2021. Kajol restarted her career and established herself in fierce, strong, and women-oriented roles. Likewise, ” Salaam Venky” is based on a true story. 

Salaam Venky: Inspired By An Unbelievably True Story 

Kajol announced the start of the shoot for ‘Salaam Venky’ via her Instagram, where She posted a photo with Revathy holding the clapboard for the ‘MUHURAT’ shoot.

With the caption as, “Today we begin the journey of a story that needed to be told, a path that had to be taken, and a life that had to be celebrated. We can’t wait to share this unbelievably true story of #SalaamVenky with you”.

As disseminated by the team, Salaam Venky is inspired by an unbelievably true story and realistic characters. The film will convey the story of a commendable Mother who battled the most challenging circumstances. It’s been produced by Suuraj Sinngh, Shraddha Agrawal, and Varsha Kukreja.

Details of the project are yet to disclose, but noticeably, Kajol’s fans are expecting something powerful and worth-watch movie, as fans sent their warmest wishes to Kajol and the team for the forthcoming project.

Revathy, who has directed films like the 2002 National Award-winning “Mitr, My Friend” and “Phir Milenge” (2004), also shared the same post on her Instagram handle.

Kajol last nailed it with her the Netflix film Tribhanga with Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar. Whereas, Revathy Asha Kelunni made her directorial debut with Mitr, My Friend, and for the same, she won the National Film Award under the category Best Feature Film in English.

As the film goes on the floor, this story of a Mother facing challenges is anticipated to be an emphatic movie on the screen.
