The official Twitter handle of Star Bharat likewise affirmed the news with two posts about the two shows. About Khichdi, the channel stated, “Following 16 years, Jayashree and Babuji will quarrel once more. Watch ‘Khichdi’ 6 April onwards, consistently at 11 am on Star Bharat.”

Storyline

The show rotates around the life of a privileged Gujarati family, the Sarabhais, who live in an extravagance high rise in the upmarket Cuffe Parade region of South Mumbai. The family comprises of Indravadan Sarabhai (Satish Shah) and his significant other Maya (Ratna Pathak), who live in a loft with their more youthful child Rosesh (Rajesh Kumar). Their more seasoned child Sahil (Sumeet Raghavan) and his significant other Monisha Sarabhai (Rupali Ganguly) née Manisha Singh live in the loft over the passage. Maya considers the name Manisha white-collar class and renames her Monisha before their marriage. Monisha’s white-collar class propensities enrage Maya. Monisha, then again, doesn’t value Maya’s self-important and pretentious conduct.

Indravadan continually ridicules Roshesh for being dependent upon his mom and for composing terrible verse. Maya and Roshesh consider Indravadan’s disposition towards Rosesh and his gregarious nature animalistic.
