    Secretariat Sports Control Board to organise marathon

    Shimla, January 4:

    HP Secretariat Sports Control Board is organizing a marathon of around six kilometers on 6 January, 2019 at 10:00 AM which will be flagged off by the senior Vice President of the Board Dr. R.N Batta from Secretariat campus.

    General Secretary of the HP Secretariat Sports Control Board Rajesh Sharma said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will grace the prize distribution ceremony at 11.30 AM.

    He said that the route of the marathon will be HP Secretariat campus-Portmore school-Shimla Club-lift-Police Control Room (turning point) and back to the starting point. The theme of the marathon is to promote the campaign against menace of “Drug Abuse” besides promoting “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” campaign.
