HEALTH MINISTER REITERATES COMMITMENT OF GOVERNMENT FOR BETTER HEALTH SERVICES

Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Vipin Singh Parmar said that the government will provide adequate staff in all the health institutions in the state in a phased manner so that health facilities were improved and available to common man nearer to their homes. In addition to this, health infrastructure will also be strengthened for betterment of health services.

Shri Parmar said that approval for 400 posts of Doctors was a big step in strengthening the health services in the state. Out of 400 doctors, 200 will be Allopathic and other 200 Ayurvedic. Health Minister has directed officers of Ayurveda Department for initiating recruitment of Ayurvedic Doctors at the earliest and added that all the 400 posts will be filled up in stipulated time.

He said Medical College Hamirpur will also be made functional at the earliest. He asked senior officers of health department to make regular inspections of health institutions in their respective areas so that better services could be provided to common man in the state.
