    WOMEN AND MEN KABADDI TEAMS

    SHIMLA 01 March 2018:

    Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur congratulated Himachal Pradesh Kabaddi Women Team for winning gold medal and Men Kabaddi Team for winning bronze medal in National level Kabaddi Competition which was held in Andhra Pradesh from 25th to 28th February.

    In finals, Himachal Pradesh Women Kabaddi Team won the gold medal by defeating Haryana by 47-35. Similarly, in men section, Himachal defeated Punjab to bag bronze.

    Chief Minister said that State Government was committed to create basic infrastructure for boosting sports activities. He said that players from Himachal Pradesh had also brought laurels to the State by winning various medals at national and international level events. He said that State Government was providing all basic facilities to encourage budding players to exhibit their skill and talent in respective games.
