SHIMLA 26 April:

Governor Acharya Devvrat today released the poster of immunization carried out in 10 districts of the State by National Health Mission under Inder Dhanush Mission at Raj Bhawan, Shimla. The campaign Under Gram Swraj Abhiyan, is being organized in 93 villages of the state from 23rd to 27th April. 77 children and 15 pregnant women who had not been vaccinated for some reason were identified and vaccinated.

Governor lauded the efforts of health department for achieving more than 97 percent coverage of complete vaccination in the state. He said the state has been performing well across various parameters in the field of health. He said latest technology should be employed in vaccination to prevent any kind of infection in the process.

Shri Pankaj Rai, Mission Director, National Health Mission, apprised the Governor about various activities related to the campaign.
