Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will preside over meetings with the MLAs for fixing their priorities in the annual budget for the year 2020-21 on 7 and 8 January, 2020 at conference hall of Armsdale building, H.P. State Secretariat, Shimla. The priority demands of MLAs would be considered in the meeting so that these could be incorporated in the budget.
The meeting with MLAs of Solan, Sirmour and Shimla districts will be held from 10.30 AM to 1.30 PM while meeting with MLAs of Mandi, Kullu and Bilaspur districts from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM on 7 January, 2020.
The meeting with MLAs of Kangra and Kinnaur districts would be held from 10.30 AM to 1.30 PM whereas with MLAs of Chamba, Una, Hamirpur and Lahaul & Spiti districts from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM on 8 January, 2020.
The priorities of MLAs regarding roads, bridges, small irrigation and drinking water supply schemes have been invited. The issues such as generating more resources, better administration and the steps for containing expenditure on various heads would also be discussed with the MLAs in the meeting.
